March 27th: Greg Harrington MS from Gramercy Cellars. We tasted his 05 Walla Walla Syrah, 05 Lagniappe Syrah, and 06 Cabernet Sauvignon. Fabulous!

April 2nd: Mike Keenan. After a great lunch with him, he stopped by and our members tasted his 04 and 05 Keenan Merlot Reserve and his 04 and 05 Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

April 9th: Kevin Carrikar from Kobalt wines tasted with us his 20 barrel-highly allocated 05 Cabernet
Sauvignon.

April 10th: “You Show Me Yours, I’ll Show You Mine” A prized-high end tasting where members bring the best out of their cellar to share. Wines of the night: 95 Coche Dury, 83 Guigal La Mouline, 55 Lafite.

April 17th: Bob Egelhoff(think Harlan, Staglin, Pahlmeyer) was in Graileys and we experienced a storied producers’ wines. We tasted with members his Bayview Ranch Riesling, Sacrashe Vineyard Cabernet 03 & 04 and Glendale Ranch Cabernet.

May 1st: Alan Peirson(Peter Michael fame) graced Graileys with a great evening of grilled meats and Cuban Cigars. We enjoyed 06 L’Angevin Laughlin Vineyard Chardonnay along with 2006 Russian River Pinot and 06’ Sonoma Stage Vineyard Pinot.

May 18th: John Duval(Grange) was in tasting his line of Duval wines. Our members tasted Eligo, Plexus, and Entity.

May 19th: Nicole Abiouness. A dinner at York Street and afterparty at Graileys featured 06 Abiouness Hudson, 06 Game Farm and Eaglepoint Sangiovese, and the 08 Pinot Noir Rose. June 3rd: Andy Erickson(Screaming Eagle, Favia, Leviathon). A dinner with him and his Favia line-up that led to drinking 89 Mouton.

June 16th: Bayard Fox and his wonderful Renard Wines featured his line of Roussannes from Santa Ynez and Sonoma as well as his syrahs from Kick Ranch and Tres Ninos.

June 17th: “You Show Me Yours, I’ll Show You Mine, Part Deux” featured Super Tuscan versus Bordeaux and the Wine Of The Night was 97 Fontodi Flaccianello follwed by 82 La Mission Haut Brion and 89 Pichon and 90 Latour.

June 26th: Cody Upton Dallas’ Burgundy Guru held an event featuring some awesome grower properties. 05 Gilbert Picq Chablis, 05 Grivault Meursault, Lequin-Colin Chassagne Montrachet just to name a few.

July 17th: Neal Rosenthal Import Collection Tasting with John Paine featured Lucien Crochet, la Torre, Montevertine, Paolo Bea, Cornu, and Gaunoux. His wines and estates are always impressive.

July 31st: “You Show Me Yours, I’ll Show You Mine Part Trois” featured the Best of Napa Valley. This event included 78 Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill, 90 Dominus, 95 Hillside Select, 96 Dalle Valle Maya, and 05 Maybach.

August 14th: Heidi Barrett. A wonderful dinner that featured her La Sirena Syrahs from Santa Ynez and her Barrett Vineyard and Cabernet Sauvignons from Napa Valley.

August 20th: Kirk and Nils Venge stayed at Graileys all night with members drinking Saddleback, Venge, Scouts Honor and 83 Warres Vintage Port. Truly great having them in.

August 21st: “You Show Me Yours, I’ll Show You Mine Part Quatre” featured 95 Mouton, 92 DRC Romanee St Vivant, 59 Remoissenet Richebourg, 79 Guigal La Mouline, as well as 82 Gaja Costa Russi, and 66 Latour.

August 26th: DC Flynt Master of Wine held a wonderful burgundy event showcasing his hand select imports from Domaine Adiar Chablis, Moret Nomine Meursault, Rapet Corton Grand Cru, Remiroquet Vosne Romanee, and Roy Gevry Chambertin. Our members truly love great Burgundy!

September 9th: Ivan Thornton, Grape Passion Wine Merchant brought a killer line-up from some of Napa’s topproducers. Versant, Realm, Bisou, Charter Oak, Erna Schein, and Garric Cellars, featuring winemakers such as Pam Starr, Robbie Meyer, and Thomas Brown.

September 29th: Ray Signorello Jr. of Signorello Estate stopped by Graileys to taste 06 Padrone, 05 Estate Cabernet, 07 Seta, and 07 Vieilles Vignes Chardonnay.

October 2nd: Jane Ferrari absolutely amazed all our members on this day. Probably one of the best speakers and saleswomen in the game. The Yalumba wines were incredible featuring, 06 Scribbler, 04 Signature, 06 MGS, 04 Menzies, 08 Patchwork, and the 07 Eden Valley Viognier. October 9th: Dr Chris Fotinos of Fotinos Winery in Napa Valley holds another private event in Graileys with friends. The 06 estate Pinot Noir, alongside NV Egley-Ouriet, and 96 Sociando Mallet.

October 13th: Master Sommelier Brett Zimmerman holds portfolio event featuring wines from La Macchiole, J Hofstatter, Alfred Gratien, Corte Sant’Alda, and Gravner, ending with Master Sommeliers Richard Betts mescal known as Sombra!

October 23rd: Graileys hosts 30 people for Dr Madaiah Revana featuring his Alexana Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, as well as Revana Cabernet Sauvignon.

Ocober 28th: Ryan Hill of Hill Family stops by to share his 05 Double Barrel and 05 Cabernet along with his 05 Beau Terre marlot and 06 Stewart Ranch Pinot. Af

November 2nd: Jean Trimbach stopped by and wow, were these wines incredible. From his 07 Riesling to his 01 SGN Gewurztraminer, the wines showed perfectly. 02 Cuvee Frederic Emile Riesling was probably the favorite. Other wines were, 07 Riesling Reserve, 04 Pinot Gris, 01 Pinot Gris Reserve Personnelle, and 01 Riesling VT.

November 3rd: Tom Rozner, Master of Wine Candidate and Hartford Court wine guy wowed our members with his 06 Four Hearts Chardonnay and 07 Stone Cote Chardonnay as well as 06 Russian River and 06 Land’s Edge Pinot Noirs.

November 11th: Andy Erickson and wife Annie Favia host a dinner for 24 in our Cellar. The event included 06 Cerro Sur, 06 La Magdalena, and 06 Quarzo, but led to 82 La Chappelle, 79 Palmer, 71 Camille Giroud, 78 Margaux, 67 Climens, 94 Cannubi Boschis Sandrone, 98 Ornellaia, and 75 Yquem

November 16th: Laura Williamson Master Sommelier stops by with the famous Andreas Bocelli wines and they were amazing. The 07 In Canto(100% Cabernet) and the 04 Terre di Sandro(100% Sangiovese). She also stayed for 97 Domaine Carre Courbin Volnay Clos de Ducs!

November 17th: Gaia Gaja just wants to hang out in the cellar. Because it was Gaia she enjoyed 73 Biondi Santi(pre DOCG status) and 78 Cheval Blanc. What a day!

November 19th: Dan Bailey of Jones Family(Heidi Barrett, Thomas Brown) tasted our members on his 05 and 06 Sisters Cabernet as well as 03 to 06 Jones Family Cabs, which led to dinner and 78 Mouton, 97 Monbousquet, 67 Mouton, 98 Dominus in magnum, and 96 La Gomerie in magnum.

November 20th: A pre-Thanksgiving tasting with Wade Cooper, Darrell Davy and other members led to 83 La Chapelle, 79 Palmer, 97 Sassicaia, 97 Zeni Amarone, 76 Montrose, 85 Bollinger, 86 BV Beau Tour Cab, and 99 Hobbs Beckstoffer To Kalon.
